Privacy Policy

Who we are

This policy covers the mobile game Floorfiller: DJ Music Game (the "game"), published by Neu Software LLC ("we", "us", "our"). It also covers this website, floorfiller.neu.so.

The short version

  • No accounts. No sign-in. We do not collect your email in the app.
  • No analytics. No ads. No tracking. No advertising ID (IDFA).
  • Your DJ name and your progress stay on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.

What we collect

The game has no backend. All music and assets ship inside the app. Because of that, we do not collect, receive, store or process personal data through the game.

  • No account data. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and the app never asks for your email.
  • No analytics or advertising data. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not show ads. We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • No device identifiers. We do not read or collect the advertising identifier (IDFA or Android advertising ID).
  • No sensitive permissions. The game does not use your microphone, camera, location or contacts.

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you write to us. See "Retention" below.

What stays on your device

The game saves the following on your device only:

  • The DJ name you type in.
  • Your progress: coins, gems, tracks, stars, fans, gear and chests.
  • Your settings, for example haptics.

We cannot see this information and it is not sent to us. It is deleted when you erase your progress in the game (Settings, "Erase all progress") or uninstall the game. See Delete your data. Because there is no cloud save, we cannot restore or transfer it for you.

Your DJ name is shown only inside the game on your own device, on the LED wall. It is not shared with other players.

Purchases

The game is free to play with optional in-app purchases (gem packs and a one-time Starter Pack). Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your card or payment details. The game only receives a purchase confirmation from the store so that it can add the gems to your device.

Apple and Google handle your purchase data under their own privacy policies:

Apple and Google may also give us aggregated, anonymous statistics about downloads, sales and crashes through their developer tools. We cannot identify you from these figures.

Permissions

  • Android: the game declares the Internet permission only. It is not used to send your progress or personal data to us.
  • Haptics: the game uses your device's vibration or haptic engine for feedback. This does not need your personal data.
  • No microphone, camera, location or contacts access on iOS or Android.

Sharing

We do not hold personal data from the game, so we have nothing to sell, rent or share. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. The game contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Children

Floorfiller is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since the game collects no personal data, there is nothing to delete, but if you believe a child has emailed us, write to support@neu.so and we will delete the email.

Data retention

  • Game data stays on your device until you erase it or uninstall the game. We do not hold a copy.
  • Support emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you. We delete them on request. Email support@neu.so with the subject "Delete my data" and we will handle it within 30 days.

Security

Since your game data stays on your device and is not sent to us, it is protected by your device's own security (passcode, biometrics, encryption). Keep your device up to date. For purchases, Apple and Google protect your payment information.

Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

We do not process personal data from the game, and we do not sell or share personal information. The only personal data we may ever hold is what you email to us. To use any of your rights over that, contact support@neu.so. We respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so in the app or on our website.
